Starting a blog is easy, but running a blogging business is not that easy; it is time-consuming and requires a lot of work and patience; it may take months or even years to make money from your blog. I would suggest starting a blog as soon as possible, working on it step by step, and being ready to consistently and regularly update your blog content. It will not be easy, but it is worth the effort.

Try to Write

I think the first thing to do before you start creating your blog is to get a pencil and a notebook, write a couple of articles, and see if writing is something you enjoy doing. Blogging is an ongoing process, and you need to keep posting regularly and consistently to attract more readers to your blog and monetize it.
If you start a blog only to make money but don’t enjoy writing, your blog will fail quickly; you don’t need to be a professional writer, but you need to enjoy writing.

The niche is what your blog is going to be about; the topic or related topics that you will be writing about; there are many different niches like (lifestyle, finance, beauty, fashion, tech, sports, food, and many others); the most important thing to do before starting a blog is to pick a niche that you are passionate and enjoy writing about.

Naming your blog is crucial, and coming up with a good name is easy if you follow some naming rules, but what is not easy is to find that name available as a domain name.
The domain name is your website name (www.domain.com); that is what people type in their search and browsers to reach your blog website content pages; some bloggers use their names, and others use names that best describe their topic or niche; both are fine.
The simple rules for a good name are short (15 letters max), descriptive, easy to type, pronounce, and remember, and avoid using numbers or hyphens. The preferred domain extension is the (.com), but there are many other extensions, such as (.net, .org, and even .blog). The most powerful platform, in my opinion, is WordPress. Still, you need to choose the one you like; most of these offer a free trial time, so you can try them out and see if you like them or not.

The web host is an Internet hosting service that provides the servers and the tools to host/store and maintain your website files and provides accessibility on the World Wide Web; there are many different web host service providers; you need to find a web host that provides the tools and partnerships required to run your blog smoothly with a suitable price and good customer support service, I would recommend DreamHost, NameCheap, and BlueHost, both are reliable, fast, secure, beginner-friendly, and affordable; they both have a partnership with the WordPress blogging platform so you can easily and quickly build and create your blog with one-click installation; I don’t recommend free web hosting, you will never get a good service for free
